Favourite Anisong to Sing at the Karaoke

Poll results revealed!

18 Oct 2018

In conjunction with Karaoke Culture Day (17 October), here is the poll result for the “Favourite Anisong to Sing at the Karaoke”.

Coming at number one is the ending theme song G no Senko from Gundam Reconguista in G, with 6% of the total votes. The song garnered comments such as “I feel refreshed when I hear it” and “It’s a song that’s just right to wake up to!” The lyricist for the song is actually director Yoshiyuki Tomino, who wrote it under the name Rin Iogi.

Tying at number two with 5% of the votes each are God knows… (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) and Peace Sign (My Hero Academia).

God knows… is an insert song from an episode of the anime, and it is still being sung often even though it has been 10 years since its broadcast.

Peace Sign is the opening theme song for season 2 of My Hero Academia. Many commented that the passionate mood of the song makes them feel like they can work towards their dreams like Deku and gang.
