The official Twitter for Kantai Collection released the news of an upcoming animated series for the KanColle franchise.
A PV for the new animated series was aired during the ‘KanColle Chinjufu Naval Base New Year’s Jazz Festival 2019 in Nippon Budokan’ event.
Studio ENGI, a 2D/3D animation studio that KADOKAWA, Sammy, and Ultra Music Pictures established last year, will be producing the new animation.
The first animation series, Kantai Collection: KanColle aired on ANIPLUS as a simulcast in 2015 January, and ANIPLUS has also screened KanColle the Movie in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia in 2017.
KanColle the Movie will be airing on ANIPLUS again this Sunday, 13 JAN at 18:55 [17:55 id/th].
