A special commercial spot for the upcoming AOBUTA movie was unveiled after the TV anime’s final episode on Tokyo MX on 29 December 2018. The video reveals Shoko Makinohara (voiced by Inori Minase) – the central character in the movie – and the movie’s release information.

The movie – titled “seishun buta yaro ha yume miru shojo no yume wo minai” – will be out in Japan in early summer 2019.
The TV anime covers the first five volumes of the light novel, while the upcoming movie will focus on the sixth and seventh volumes.
Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai, the TV series, was simulcast from October to December 2018 on ANIPLUS Asia in Southeast Asia.
