Naofumi Iwatani is summoned to another universe, and learns he is one of four heroes equipped with legendary weapons tasked to save the world. The weakest one must rise to become the legendary Shield Hero!
The Hero of the Shield. A 20 year old otaku university student. After reading "The Four Legendary Weapons", he is summoned to another world. Although his defense is impeccable, but his attack is almost non-existent. Due to his distrust to the people of the other world, his calm personality disappeared, and he became a cold and cynical person.
A racoon demi-human, Naofumi's first slave. She has a straight personality. She acts as Naofumi's sword who obeys his orders.
A bird-like magical creature called 'Filolial'. As a Filolial Queen, she holds a high-level ability to transform, she morphs into a young girl with wings on her back. She is good with wind magic. She has a bright personality and a huge appetite.
The Hero of the Sword. A 16 year old high school student. Although he's petite, he has good facial features and is a pretty boy. He is intelligent but also prideful, and he tends to look down on others.
The Hero of the Spear. A 21 year old university student. He is accustomed to being surrounded by women, and partying with women. When surrounded by women, he becomes oblivious to his surrounding, becoming an easy target to deceive.
The Hero of the Bow. A 17 year old high school student. He has a flexible body. Amongst all the heros, he is the most petite, however his sense of justice is the strongest. In his pursue of justice, he neglects his surroundings.
A girl who appeared in the midst of a flock of Filolial. She cares deeply about her friends, however when she is emotional, she tends to show her child-like side. Also, she seems to be habouring a secret ...
