In order to stop Norman’s shipment, Emma and Ray suggest that he fakes an escape and for him to hide within the House grounds. Norman refuses, fearing that his escape could become detrimental to the rest of the children’s future escape, but with Emma and Ray’s desperate plea, he caves.
Next day, on the day of his shipment, Norman heads to the wall to escape according to the plan. But he ends up returning to the House in the afternoon. Emma and Ray are astonished by the truth that he brings back.
