According to Boogiepop, there’s no mistake that a crisis is befalling the world, but he has no idea what exactly that crisis is.
Kei asks if it is possible to beat the crisis by defeating the ones who claim to be the King of Distortion, but Boogiepop answers that the situation is not as simple as it seems, and that he does not even know if the King of Distortion should be treated as an enemy.
Suddenly, Kei’s stomach starts rumbling and Boogiepop offers her a cute lunchbox, saying that “hunger will lead to mental unrest”.
