Year 1960. The Federal Republic of Zirnitra declares the "Mechtat (Dream) Project," which, if successful, would be a major breakthrough to achieve mankind's first human spaceflight.

"Nosferatu Project" is an experiment to send a vampire to space before executing human spaceflight. Lev Leps, a reserve cosmonaut candidate, is assigned to supervise and train the experimental subject, Irina Luminesk.

Although trifled by each nation's ambitions and racial barrier, Lev and Irina share the same sentiment as they aim for the universe.
