9-member music idol group Aqours (Love Live! Sunshine!!) and the Sword Warriors (Touken Ranbu) are set to perform at the the upcoming NHK’s Kohaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Song Battle).
This year’s edition of Kohaku Uta Gassen features a special segment that focuses on the popularity of Japanese culture in the world. For animation and games, Aqours and the Sword Warriors from the well known Love Live! and Touken Ranbu franchises have been scheduled to take part in the year end TV special. This will be the first appearance for both groups.

Aqours is a 9-member group from Love Live! Sunshine!!, a multimedia school idol project, where all nine members perform the voices for the characters.
