Heaven’s Design Team Teaser Visual, Staff

The teaser visual and main staff of upcoming TV anime Heaven’s Design Team by Suzuki Tsuta, Hebizou and Tarako have been revealed. The anime is also slated for broadcast on 2021.

The teaser visual features the story’s main protagonist, newbie angel Shimoda, surrounded by the animals he designed upon requests from his client, God. Soichi Masui (Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai) will direct the series while Michiko Yokote (SHIROBAKO) will handle the series composition. Sachiko Ohashi (Somali and the Forest Spirit, MacrossΔ) will be handling the character designs.

Heaven’s Design Team is a workplace comedy that revolves around the Heaven’s Animal Design Department, where they take in God’s requests to create new animals. After God got sick of having to create life on Earth, the angels, designers and engineers of the Heaven’s Animal Design Department have been working hard to fulfill these sometimes unreasonable requests.

Here’s a comment from Soichi Masui, Director of the series:

“What led to the birth of creatures that now inhabit the Earth?

We (the staff) are currently working hard to bring you a fun show that will portray the serious yet whimsical sides of the Creators’ workplace. Please look forward to seeing how the cute, scary and extraordinary creatures are born from the daily struggles of the designers of Heaven.”
