Levi proposes to the incapacitated Erwin that he sits out the operation, but the resolute Erwin holds firm with the message: “I have to be there at the moment we learn the truth about this world.” A grand party is held for the soldiers on that night. Eren and others look back at the battles they have gone through so far, and renew their resolve.
