Many dignitaries from home and abroad gather for the crowning of the 31st King of Qin, Ying Zheng. The ceremony progresses as everyone stares in awe at the majestic figure of Ying Zheng. However, an urgent report notifies them of the Ai army slipping through the Hangu Pass and approaching the royal capital of Xianyang?! Hearing the news, Lü Buwei suggests the cancellation of the ceremony, but Ying Zheng commands to continue the ceremony as is.

#18 River-Crossing Battle

The Fei Xin Force meets up with allies before a pitched battle across a key river. Troops descend on Xianyang as Xiang recalls Zheng's parting words.

#19 A Parting of Ways

Xin explains how Diao learned of the rebellion. Lord Changping makes a momentous decision. The seige of Xianyang intensifies as Xin's troops arrive.

#20 A Dream Nation

Xin pushes onward to Xianyang's Inner Palace as Xiang and Yang are taken to safety. Lü Buwei explains his views to Zheng and how he would rule Qin.

#21 Our One Shot at Victory

Zheng refutes his chancellor's notion of ideal government and articulates his reasons for a united Middle Kingdom. Xin gets turned around in Xianyang.

#22 Running For Your Lives

The court ladies make a run for it when their safety is compromised. Shang Lu's ailing army is just barely keeping the enemy out of the royal capital.

#23 Reversal Rush

A wounded Cheng Jiao confronts Pu Ge, then has a heart-to-heart with Liu Yi and shares words of wisdom with Xin as the fighting in Tunliu subsides.

#24 The Rebellion’s Conclusion

Lao Ai, the man who orchestrated the uprising, must finally reap what he's sown. The Queen Dowager makes a last-ditch plea at her lover's hearing.

#25 A Time for Venturing Forth

The rebels and masterminds behind Ai's uprising meet their fates--or rather, most of them do. Zheng discusses his vision for Qin's future with Xin.

CHARACTERS

Li Xin (CV: Masakazu Morita)

Grew up like a slave together with his best friend and fellow orphan, Piao, in a small village, but the two always dreamed of becoming the world's greatest generals. Not much is known of Xin's family or past.

Ying Zheng (CV: Jun Fukuyama)

The king of Qin who bears a striking resemblance to Shin's friend Piao. His father was the late king, but his mother did not have any royal blood.

He Liao Diao (CV: Rie Kugimiya)

The last descendant of a Mountain Tribe, assisting Ying Zheng and Xin.

Qiang Lei (CV: Yoko Hikasa)

A member of a legendary assassin clan called "Chi You" that is exceptional in combat and uses the notorious Dance of Death.
