#1 In the Heavens and the Earth
In 1213, Tus, Iran, a young girl named Sitara is taken in by Fatima. Though she detests studying and longs for home, Fatima's son, Muhammad, inspires her to pursue knowledge and wisdom.
#2 The Roses Bloom in Safar
An army led by Tolui, the fourth prince of the Mongol Empire, invades the city of Tus. The city is set ablaze, and Sitara is taken captive. A boy working for the Mongols approaches her.
#3 Powerless Flame
Sitara learns why Fatima was murdered and why "Elements" was taken. Granted an audience with Tolui, Sitara introduces herself as “Fatima.” Thus begins her revenge against the Mongol Empire.
#4 Otchigin
With hatred in her heart, Sitara becomes a tutor to Sorghaghtani. Years later, amid major shifts in the political landscape after Genghis Khan's death, Sitara receives an unexpected order.
