#3 Episode 03
Abiding by the contract, Toma helps Maki with grocery shopping while accompanied by Yuta.
Kanako who is interested in the boys’ soft tennis team follows the trio and ends up at Maki’s place for a meal.
Meanwhile, being a rookie in soft tennis , Maki has a lot of questions.
In order to teach Maki the rules and foundations of soft tennis, Toma proposes a training match.
However, not wanting Maki to get full of himself, Shingo, Tsubasa and Itsuki are scheming something…

#4 Episode 04
Maki shows the team “a certain proposal”, which puts the boys in doubt and displeasure.
To test Maki's intentions, they start another round of practice matches…

#5 Episode 05
The boys’ are now filled with energy and motivation after discovering their potentials.
However, unlike his teammates who are going all out with their practice on the court, Maki’s heart remains clouded with darkness.
Worried about Maki who appeared without his racket, Toma asks Maki what happened.
Maki is hesitant, but decided not to hide it any longer after looking at Toma’s serious expression.

#6 Episode 06
Right before friendly match with the soft tennis powerhouse, Misaki Academy team, the Shijo Minami members are in a mixture of uneasiness and lack of nervousness.
The Taiyo-Nao pair, first to go on court, are intimidated by their opponents’ prowess.
However, Maki laughs it off, saying that they can win so long as they have the confidence.
With Yuta’s support, the pairs are now motivated to play at their full potential.
Starting off with Shingo’s “victory dance”, their first friendly match begins!

#7 Episode 07
While everyone thought that it would be a beatdown against Misaki Academy’s ace, Arashi Oji, Maki catches on to something – there is a chance at victory if they hit on their weak point.
It’s not going to be easy, but it’s worth a try!
Yuta prays hard while Kanako watches over them despite saying that “hard work doesn't actually pay off”.
With the support from their teammates, Maki and Toma begin their counterattack.
Will they eventually turn the tables on Misaki Academy?!

#8 Episode 08
Nao falls into a dispute with his mother who is displeased with him and his club activities.
All he wants is to protect the place where he belongs – the soft tennis team and his friends.
However, without conveying those feelings…
The soft tennis team receives a warning upon a complaint from Nao’s mother.
Meanwhile, Sakurai announces that the team will go against Hatanooka Middle School in the summer tournament.
Within Hatanooka awaits yet another powerful opponent…

Shingo gets along with his sister, An.
Wanting to watch Shingo play in a match, An asks for a school tour on the coming Sunday.
Their father agrees, but An’s mother thinks otherwise…
Meanwhile, Nao’s mother remains insistent on his withdrawal from the soft tennis team.
He grows colder each time he hears his mother’s uncaring words.
While holding onto their troubles, the day of the match against the girls’ team arrives.
And a certain incident happens…

Over at Shinjo’s residence, Toma’s mother makes a certain decision in front of Ryoma.
Meanwhile, Rintaro arrives at the match venue…
Maki and Toma are facing off with an “undefeatable” pair.
Feeling the pressure from the court, the Shijo Minami members start to lose hope.
However, Kanako reminds them that “the match has only just begun” as the boys regain their confidence.
How will Maki and Toma fare against the undefeatable pair…?!
CHARACTERS

A boy who transferred into Shijo South Middle School. He lives with his single-parent mother and takes care of the chores at home. Keeps a distance from others. He has no intention to join a club, but...

Captain of the boys' soft tennis club. He is serious and straightforward, but not versatile. He is trying to save the club from disbanding. His elder brother at university is praised for his abilities at the soft tennis OB.

Smallest member of the boys' soft tennis club. He is clear with his likes and dislikes, but tends to hide his true intentions and feelings. When he would speak harshly at times, his team mates would reprimand him.

Vice-captain of the boys' soft tennis club. He is kind and gentle. Despite being able to execute everything flawlessly, he somehow lacks self-confidence and always ends up holding back.

Very athletic and good at all kinds of sports. He is a moody and very straightforward person.

Mood-maker of the boys' soft tennis club. He is cheerful and cares greatly for his friends, but is also very competitive and often gets emotional.

Does things at his own pace. He appears to get along well with just anyone, but no one ever knows if he is lying or speaking the truth.

Often a mediator due to his gentle personality. He has difficulty making decisions or speaking up. Having stage fright makes him extremely nervous during matches. As his parents were from the Kansai region, he speaks in the Kansai dialect despite growing up in Tokyo.
