Ruri Rocks is coming to ANIPLUS this July!
Ruri Rocks, also known as Introduction to Mineralogy, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Keiichiro Shibuya.
It has been serialized in Enterbrain‘s seinen manga magazine Harta since August 2019, with its chapters collected into six tankobon volumes as of July 2025
Read the synopsis below:
It occurs to Ruri Tanigawa, a high schooler who loves shiny things, that she might be able to find crystals herself. While on a mountain path to do just that, she meets Nagi Arato, a university student who majors in Mineralogy, and they end up prospecting minerals together.
Hiking mountain trails for crystals, stepping in rivers for garnets and peeking into an unknown mineral through the microscope—under Nagi’s guidance, Ruri becomes fascinated by the world of minerals.
The genuine science adventure begins now!!
The opening theme song, “Hikari no Sumika”, is performed by Rei Yasuda, while the ending theme song, “Sapphire”, is performed by Hana Hope.
