i have watched anime since the day i understood what cartoon was and the first anime i watched was fruits basket on channel 8 when i was young and would always skip my nap time just to watch it! Now as an adult of 23years old, i still watch anime constantly! Everyday i have to watch CrayonShinChan while i eat or it just wouldn't feel right! Previously a few months ago i found that that Crayon Shin Chan was based on a real life story so after some digging, rumours of shin chan being a still born showed up and all these anime were just an imagination of his mother trying to think about what his life would be if he got to grow up.. while another myth was that shin chan actually saved Himamori from an oncoming car which resulted in his death and the anime is written from all the memories the mother has of him. i was depressed for 2 weeks and even cried. after some research from friends who understand japanese, i found out that the story was entirely fictional.
