Anime is a #dominator. Because in entertainment it is probably one of the most intricately done pieces of visual art. Because of that it allows to imagine. When we watch Pokemon we can imagine, a pikachu leaping off our shoulders to give a zap at Team Rocket. When we watch Psycho Pass we imagine the possible conveniences and repercussions of a futuristic world governed by a system like the Sibyl System. Anime itself IS imagination. In a modern day context where people try to seek what is absent in their lives, imagination is the next best alternative. Anime helps to invoke that imagination. Ah, but the x factor here is this: Imagination CAN become reality. In fact it is a pre requisite to imagine that it is real first. Don't you agree how Anime is indeed a #dominator?
